This policy explains what personal data I collect on zunairmaqbool.com, why I collect it, and what rights you have. I have kept it short and plain on purpose.
I am Zunair Maqbool, a paid media specialist. I run this website myself, so I am the data controller for the data described here. I am based in Pakistan, and the site is aimed at visitors
What data do I collect
I collect two kinds of data through this site.
1. Data You Give Me:
When you book a call through the booking tool, you share your name, email address, and anything you add in the booking notes. If you email me directly, I receive your email address and whatever you write.
2. Data Collected Automatically:
When you visit, Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager record basic usage data. That includes the pages you view, the device and browser you use, your approximate location from your IP address, and how you reached the site. I see this data in aggregate. It does not identify you by name.
Cookies
The site uses cookies, mainly for analytics. Analytics cookies tell me which pages get visited and where visitors come from, so I can improve the site.
You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s official opt out tool. Blocking analytics cookies will not stop you using the site.
How I Use Your Data
I use your data to:
- Reply to your enquiry and arrange or hold a call
- Keep a record of our contact
- Understand how the site is used and make it better
I do not sell your data. I do not run advertising or tracking pixels on this site.
Legal basis for using your data
Under the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, I rely on these legal bases:
- Consent for analytics cookies and for any optional details you choose to share.
- Legitimate interests for replying to your messages and keeping basic records of enquiries.
- Taking steps at your request, when you book a call or ask me to get in touch.
You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who I share it with
I use a few trusted providers to run the site. They process some data on my behalf:
- Google, for Analytics and Tag Manager.
- My booking tool, Calendly, which handles call scheduling.
- My website host and my email provider.
Each provider handles data under its own privacy terms. I share only what these services need to work.
How long do I keep it
I keep enquiry and booking data only as long as I need it to deal with your request, plus a reasonable period after. Then I delete it. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics, after which it is removed or anonymised.
Your rights
Under data protection law, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the data I hold about you
- ask me to correct it
- ask me to delete it
- object to or restrict how I use it
- ask for your data in a portable format
- withdraw consent at any time

Security
I take reasonable steps to keep your data safe and to limit who can access it. No website can promise perfect security, but I work only with providers that keep recognised security standards.
Children
This site is meant for a professional, adult audience. I do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If I make a significant change, I will update this page.
